i can leap a tall building in a single bound
    i can beat a fast train  on it's way into town
    and i can do it all without

    superman was tied up with a couple of fools
    it was a good thing i knew excatly what to do

    that match my spurs of course
    i wear a ten gallon hat

    till way after dark
    me, my horse, and my guitar
   
    for heros like me theres no time for rest
    theres always a damsil in distress
    that needs a super hero like me
